The English Education major for Secondary Education focuses on grades 5-12. The REPA Licensing Rules require 120 credit hours to be completed in order for students to earn their degree. Full degree requirements below.

Student teaching is every week day for 80 days in the student's content area and follows the calendar used by the middle school or high school where the student teaching placement occurs. If the student is completing a special education or ENL license addition, then student teaching will be 40 days in a middle school or high school in the content area and another 40 days in a middle school or high school in the license addition area.
