Dean’s Fund for Educational Excellence & Innovation

Dean’s Fund for Educational Excellence & Innovation

A gift to the Dean’s Fund will support Dean Tambra Jackson’s priorities and vision for the School of Education. The Dean’s Fund ensures there are unrestricted resources available that will allow the school to remain innovative and competitive while moving forward Dean Jackson's vision to advance teaching, research, and community engagement with faculty and staff.

The Dean has launched three new initiatives to date to support student success and faculty and staff leadership and development. The Ghana Study Abroad program is the newest initiative and has been approved for three years.

Representatives from the School of Education including undergraduate students and a graduate assistant led by faculty fellow Dr. Tina O’Neal will travel to Ghana for a two-week immersive experience to learn about the intersection of inclusive education and cultural competency.
