School of Education Future Educators Fund

Are you a preservice teacher experiencing an unexpected financial hardship which may hinder your degree or licensure completion?

The School of Education offers support for eligible students facing an urgent need. Students can make a one-time request per semester for emergency funds. Priority will be given to first-time requests.

Available resources require that students meet the following criteria:

Enrolled full time in a teacher education degree or eligible licensure (ATAC/DBAC) program
Majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary Education
Priority given to individuals who have been approved for student teaching
Experiencing an unexpected financial emergency
- Examples of financial emergencies: urgent bill or housing payment, car repair or transportation fees, unforeseen childcare fees, health related expenses-medical treatment or prescriptions
- Must provide documentation for requests at/over $500
  - Examples of documentation: bills, invoices, receipt of payment

Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
