School of Education Future Educators Fund
Established out of the need to provide direct support to our students, the Future Educators Fund has been established to serve all our students. One way the fund is currently operating is by providing emergency assistance for individuals experiencing financial hardship. Pre-service teachers are our top priority to ensure nothing stands in their way to complete their 16-week student teaching requirement and graduation.
In the first four months of offering this support, we’ve supported 8 students and provided almost $5,000 in support. The top three requests for emergency financial support include transportation assistance, childcare costs, and licensure exam fees.
