Education Students Advisory Council (ESAC)
ESAC serves as the representative body for students enrolled in the IU School of Education in Indianapolis. Officers are elected by students in the Teacher Education program.
ESAC promotes programs that enhance student life, foster a sense of identity among students, and increase our visibility in the university community. In addition, it provides opportunities to get involved with alumni and to develop your leadership skills.
The organization also contributes to your professional development and honors students and faculty whose efforts have distinguished them.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international honorary society founded to recognize excellence in education. Students who are invited for membership exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and outstanding achievement in professional education courses. The IU Indianapolis Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, Pi Omicron, sponsors a wide variety of programs for its members and the School of Education.
