
Bio
Amanda Culhan has had the privilege of serving as a school counselor, school counselor educator, and state school counseling specialist. She is currently a school counseling consultant, assisting organizations and school districts with project coordination, professional development, resource enhancement, and advocacy for data-driven school counseling programs. Amanda coordinates Counselor Connect, a statewide network and community of practice for student service professionals operated by the Central Indiana Educational Service Center. Amanda is a licensed school counselor with over twenty years of experience, 11 of which were served as the School Counseling Specialist for the Indiana Department of Education.
Amanda is devoted to equipping school and community professionals to better serve students, and has K-12, postsecondary, and state government experience. Amanda earned her Master of Science degree in Educational Studies, with a specialization in School Counseling, from Purdue University.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and doing anything outdoors!
