Biography
Natalie Odom Pough, Ed.D. is a teacher educator with over 13 years of experience in public schools and higher education as a middle school math and social studies teacher, school administrator, college lecturer, and a visiting assistant professor. Dr. Pough's research interests include preservice and in-service teacher preparation and new teacher attrition.
Dr. Pough was named an ASCD Emerging Leader in 2018. In 2019, she was appointed to the Teaching Tolerance Advisory Board. Dr. Pough is also the founder and executive director of the South Carolina New Educator Conference where she works to serve and support the new educators of her home state of South Carolina.
She holds a B.S. in Management and a MAT in Middle Grades Education from Clemson University and an Ed.S. and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. She and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters.
