Students will be exposed to youth development theory, innovative motivational tools, and be encouraged to also explore and refine their own current practices to experience and maintain positive outcomes with young people. There will also be a short study of contemporary youth culture that will inform the student’s ability to remain current in youth behavioral trends and shifts that may affect interactions with young people.
