School of Science - Degrees and Programs
NOTE: IU Indianapolis does not have an undergraduate science education program; however, students who wish to become science teachers can do a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, physics, or geology through the School of Science and then do a 5th year transition-to-teach program that will give them certification to teach in their content area as well as half of a master’s degree in secondary education. B.S.Ed. World Languages - Fall 2024
NOTE: For students starting at IU Indianapolis in Fall 2015 or after, IU Indianapolis no longer has an undergraduate world language program; however, students who wish to become Spanish or American Sign Language teachers can do a bachelor’s degree in that area and then do a 5th year transition-to-teach program that will give them certification to teach in their content area as well as half of a master’s degree in secondary education.
